Provide overall editorial leadership, set the vision for the journal, and make final decisions on manuscript acceptance and rejection. (Honorary)
Assist the Editor-in-Chief in managing the review process, assigning reviewers, and evaluating manuscript quality. (Honorary)
Work closely with authors to shape and improve manuscripts, ensuring they meet the journal's scope, standards, and publication guidelines. (Honorary)
Represent and promote the journal within a specific geographic region, solicit submissions from local researchers, and assist with regional peer review. (Honorary)
Provide strategic guidance, support the journal's quality standards, assist with indexation efforts, and help promote the journal at conferences and in academic networks. (Honorary)
Conduct thorough expert peer reviews of submitted manuscripts, providing constructive and impartial evaluation reports to assist editorial decisions. (Honorary)
Eligibility Criteria
We welcome applications from candidates who meet the following general criteria. Specific requirements may vary by position and journal.
- ✓Hold a PhD degree or equivalent in a relevant academic discipline (required for most editorial roles).
- ✓Demonstrated expertise and a strong publication record in your subject area.
- ✓Commitment to upholding publication ethics standards set by COPE, ICMJE, WAME, and STM.
- ✓Ability to dedicate the necessary time to fulfil the responsibilities of the role in a timely manner.
- ✓Strong written and communication skills in English.
