Our Reviewer

The reviewer is a renowned person with vast subject knowledge and plays a vital role in the peer review process, confirming the integrity of all published material. The whole process depends on the trust and involvement of participating reviewers. The efforts of reviewers are key to the objectives of a fair and timely review process for all manuscripts, and publication of only the highest quality papers. All participating peer reviewers should follow our guidelines and ethics. Their constructive comments and reports will help the Editor decide on manuscripts. We greatly appreciate reviewers for their help in meeting these important objectives.

Peer Review Process

All journals of Conscientia Beam employ a double-blind peer review process. The author's names and affiliations will not be revealed to the reviewers, while the authors are kept blinded from reviewer details. After the Editorial Review process, the handling Editor will solicit at least two expert reviewers in the field with the title and abstract of the manuscript. Reviewers are expected to give a prompt response when approached, advancing the correctness, clarity, and completeness of manuscripts to help editors decide whether a manuscript can be published. Reviewers should provide reviews with clear suggestions and honest corrections to the Editor, who will forward the review reports to the author.

Responsibilities of Reviewers

• ✓Respect confidentiality and not disclose information until the manuscript is published.
• ✓Protect individual data and not use the information for personal benefit or share it with any other individual or organization.
• ✓Agree to review only when possessing adequate subject expertise for accurate assessment and constructive reporting.
• ✓Ensure all authors have an equal opportunity to publish regardless of origin, nationality, ethnicity, race, religion, gender or political beliefs.
• ✓Base reviews on relevancy, integrity, scientific strength, potential interest, completeness, clarity and ethics in the manuscript.
• ✓Declare any potential conflict of interest and seek assistance from the Editor regarding any uncertain conflicts.
• ✓Declare any involvement in the submitted work and decline to review the manuscript.
• ✓Notify the Editor immediately if any partial or whole information in the manuscript is plagiarised or infringed.
• ✓Notify the Editor of any concerns about study ethics, ethical aspects, or misconduct in the manuscript.
• ✓Not attempt to contact the authors regarding the manuscript without permission from the Editor.

Instructions When Asked to Review a Manuscript

• →Promptly acknowledge whether you can serve as a reviewer.
• →Decline if you have no subject expertise adequate for the review.
• →Complete and submit your review report within two weeks.
• →Inform the Editor if you cannot submit within the agreed time-frame.
• →Do not delay the review process intentionally.
• →The Editor will decide on the manuscript once at least two reports are received within the time frame.
• →If the first two reviews are contrasting, the Editor will wait for the third reviewer's report before deciding.
• →Contact the Editor for any additional documents needed.
• →Do not edit any information in the manuscript content.
• →Provide sound, constructive, unbiased reviews and acknowledge the good information in the manuscript.
• →Keep reviews objective; avoid personal accusations and inappropriate language.
• →Direct any confidential comments only to the Editor.
• →Keep a copy of the review documents for reference if a revision is submitted by the authors.
• →Respond promptly whenever the Editor contacts you post-review regarding the reviewed manuscript.
